Very few dogs have allergies, and gluten intolerance is rare. Though dogs may not require grains, as such, the addition of a fortified cereal mix to raw provides additional vitamins, minerals, fibers, protein, and carbohydrates to give a more complete feed. (Not added as a filler.)
